Secure Your Financial Future by Preparing a Will

Secure Your Financial Future by Preparing a Will

Creating a will or trust helps you care for family and friends; sort out investments, real estate, and other property; and reduce expenses for heirs. Your plan affirms not only how your estate will be distributed, but also the kind of legacy you leave for others.

USF is offering a new tool to help you create a customized will. We've partnered with FreeWill, a quick, easy, and free online tool you can use to prepare a will in less than 30 minutes.

It takes less than 30 minutes to complete, and it’s completely free.

And if you already have a will, you can use FreeWill to update your current plan. You can also use the tool simply to document your wishes as you complete your plan with an attorney.

Discover The Benefits of Planning Ahead

  • Choose how your assets will be distributed
  • Achieve greater peace of mind knowing that you’ve articulated clear instructions to benefit your family and the causes and institutions most important to you
  • Appoint an executor or personal representative to carry out your written instructions

  • Reduce or eliminate taxes through careful planning of a charitable bequest or similar devise

  1. To get started, use this free tool. You can create a legal will online, or document your wishes and find an attorney near you.
  2. Specify within your will the amount or percentage of your estate you’d like to leave (if any) to USF and other causes you care deeply about.
  3. Rest assured knowing you’ll be making positive change for generations to come.
